Banksia oblongifolia 'Byron Gem' is a selection of the popular Banksia oblongifolia and was found in the Byron Bay area, hence the name. It will grow 1 to 1.5 m high with a spread of 1 m. A fast grower with flowering occuring while quite young. Masses of yellow banksias flowers all over the plant. Flushes of bronze velvet like new foliage adds to the beauty of this plant Highly attrative to birds and bees.
